Sony Cuts Ties With Messaging on Vita and Website

Sony confirmed on their every growing page of "Important notices regarding PlayStation products and services" that both the PlayStation Vita and MyPlayStation will no longer support messaging.
As written on the official PlayStation website, "As of 28th June 2021, the web feature MyPlayStation will no longer be supported. You can continue to access your Game Library, Parties, Friends, Trophies, Profile information on your PS4 and PS5 consoles, or via mobile on PS App. The Profile and Game Library information will also be available via web on the profile menu dropdown."
Sony continues, "users on PlayStation Vita will no longer be able to use the messaging service. Although messaging on PS Vita is going away, your messages will still be available to you by using the messaging service on PS5 consoles, PS4 consoles, and via mobile on PlayStation App."
Since the launch of the PlayStation 5, Sony has been shifting its focus solely to PS4 and PS5 console and seemingly quickly cutting ties with the rest of their services, except for the one-time fans saved the PlayStation Store on PS3 and PS Vita.
Will this cutting of Sony services continue ... most likely. So what will we think about it? Let us know in the comments below!
